BLUE RIDGE SPORTING CLAYS 2021

In the interests of keeping our members and volunteers safe during the pandemic the following rules and regulations have been implemented and will remain in place until further notice. Please do not attend any club events if you are feeling any symptoms of COVID-19 it is mandatory that you stay home.

Due to the complexity of the sporting clays course having manual throwers please note that we are limited to group sizes and the number of new shooters we can safely handle and the need for experienced shooters to supervise and throw traps. MEMBERS ONLY, no guests are permitted to shoot.

1.)           Individual group sizes will be limited to a maximum of 5 and we will separate multiple groups on the course.

2.)           In order to limit the amount of cash handled we ask that members consider purchasing multiple cards. Please bring the exact amount as no change will be available.

3.)           SC punch cards will remain in the possession of the sporting clays chair and punched upon your event attendance.

4.)           We request that shooters arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to the shoot time as we will be starting promptly, late attendees will not be permitted to shoot.

5.)           We request that members bring their own pen to sign in, however, limited hand sanitizer will be provided dependent on availability. Members are responsible to bring their own sanitation products.

6.)           The mandatory distancing guidelines of 2 metres must be adhered to while on the Blue Ridge property. Anyone not following the guidelines will be asked to leave.

7.)           Each shooting station has only one gun rack, please maintain the 2 metre separation while accessing the rack.

8.)           At each station, only 2 people will be permitted to use the throwers to limit touch points.

9.)           The chair is the only person permitted to access the lockers to obtain birds, put away birds, seat and lock. Only one person at each station will pick up hulls.

10.)        While we appreciate everyone’s desire to help, we need to limit common touch points as much as possible at this time including shooting stations and gun racks.

11.)        We will not be keeping score or providing score cards. Individuals can maintain their own individual score cards if they so desire.

This is a work in progress and we expect that our members will exercise patience and understanding with the organizers and their fellow members as we all work through this new normal.
