Activites
Blue Ridge has regularly scheduled events covering the following disciplines.
For specific details on times, please refer to the calendar of events.

Rifle
We have a 25, 50 and 100 yard lanes within our Range 3 facility. There are no calibre restrictions, but you are restricted to club approved targets.

Archery
Archery is alive and well at Blue Ridge. We have improved the archery range and now have butts suitable for crossbows as well as compounds. There are stakes placed for 20, 30 and 40 yard shooting. Broadheads are not allowed.

Trap
We have two trap houses that are in regular use, with a third that is also available. Regularly scheduled trap nights are Wednesday nights starting at 6pm. Blue Ridge also participates in an interclub trap program between neighbouring clubs who share hosting duties.

WobbleTrap
Well, that’s what we call the event held every other Sunday during the shooting season. Over the past couple of years it has evolved. The day has grown from shooting wobble trap (a game where the birds not only fly from left to right on the same elevation, but also fly in any combination of left, right, and seemingly straight up, or straight out from the house) to shooting 16 yard, Handicap. or our own version of Doubles Trap.

Pistol
Wednesday evenings starting at 6pm has been an informal time for members who like to shoot bullseye type events to come out and practice.

Sporting Clays
We now have a full ten stands with target launching machines, located on a bush trail. Shooting occurs on every other Sunday starting at 10am, and there are Tuesday shoots starting at 6pm. Refer to the calendar of events for specifics.
